Everyday social media is growing more and more. Everyone I meet is asking me to follow them on Twitter, Facebook, etc. As a result, I have been noticing an uprising of a new form of social community building known as Meetups. Basically, a Meetup is a when a group of people who follow each other or share similar interests on Meetup.com decide to get together in person. Meetups are a perfect place to meet women for a few reasons: 1. The women there already feel like they know you. This gets you past the awkward first few minutes where you are trying to build rapport, and immediately in to the comfort zone. 2. The women are there to meet YOU. Obviously there is something about you that they like; that’s the whole reason they showed up in the first place. Use this to your advantage. 3. It’s a very light/friendly atmosphere. You can feel free to start a conversation with any and everyone and no one will question you. 4. You already have all the women’s contact information. I am going to keep this blog entry short and sweet.

Recently I have been getting asked the same question by a number

of guys, so I wanted to address it, in case you were wondering the

same thing.

“How do I find girls that are into XYZ?”

That is one of the more common questions I receive and my answer

is almost always the same:

1) If you want to meet a girl that has a particular hobby, then

you need to go to where people with this same interest congregate.

If you really like comic books and want to meet a girl who also

likes them; then you need to be prepared to start speaking to

girls at coming bookstores and conventions.

2) If you have met a girl who you like, you can always try to

introduce her to your hobby. When you are starting a relationship

with someone new, you will go through a phase where you start to

share a lot of intimate information with each other. This is a

great time to tell her “I am really in to building model cars.

My father got me in to this hobby when I was a kid and it is now
